I had one too many trips to the doctor last spring and I am working on changing my ways. My doctor said I have to lose weight and stop eating so poorly. I was also drinking too much because it was getting to be a bad habbit having friends over for baseball, football, and other stuff, drinking, chicken wings, chips etc.

My doctor recommended acai for its antioxidant qualities since cancer runs in my family. I purchased Acai Berry because of the great reviews but I have to say that it absolutely did not work for me. I started taking them when I already had a steady workout plan and I was calorie counting but I felt I needed an extra boost. The pills did not suppress my appetite nor did it give me more energy. In fact I felt like I ate more while taking them. I ended up only taking them for a few weeks so I might give it another shot since I purchased 3 months worth! Also, my purchase came with a note that said that the body is complex and the pills may not work on everybody and I should contact the company first before writing a bad review. Hmmm….no wonder there are only good reviews on amazon.

I have only good things to say about the product. The price was nice, it is much more potent then the other brand I tried earlier, and I just feel better when I have been using it every day. My sister is a nurse and is always telling me to make sure I take antioxidants to help prevent things that can cause cancer. Cancer doesnt really run in our family but for a few buck a month, I will gladly keep taking acai.
